  9. VERSIONS OF LANTASTIC(R) v4.1 LOCAL AREA NETWORK

  12. (TUCSON, AZ -- June 30, 1992) -- Artisoft announced today that it 
  13. has started shipping French, German and Spanish versions of its 
  14. award-winning LANtastic Local Area Network, including LANtastic 
  15. Starter Kits, software, adapters and upgrades.

  17. "By providing these localized versions, we are fulfilling a very great 
  18. need for our international dealers and endusers," said Dave Hallmen, 
  19. Artisoft's Vice President of Sales & Marketing. "And we're making 
  20. the power of the LANtastic Local Area Network more accessible than 
  21. ever to PC users all over the world."
  22.     The products which will be available in localized versions 
  23. include certain LANtastic Starter Kits, ArtisoftTM network adapters, 
  24. LANtastic Software Kits, the LANtastic/AITM network software 
  25. which runs on selected adapters from other manufacturers, and 
  26. upgrades to LANtastic v4.1 for users with LANtastic v4.0. The Starter 
  27. Kits include two adapters, the 300-user version of the LANtastic NOS, 
  28. cable, terminators, and both hardware and software documentation. 
  29. The adapters come with hardware documentation. The Software Kits 
  30. include the 300-user version of the LANtastic Network Operating 
  31. System as well as cable, terminators and software documentation. The 
  32. LANtastic/AI network software is licensed in either single-node or 
  33. unlimited (up to 300 users) versions.
  34.     For the French market, Artisoft has begun shipping localized 
  35. versions of the the LANtastic AE-2TM and A2MbpsTM Starter Kits, 
  36. the Artisoft AE-2 and A2Mbps adapters, LANtastic Ethernet and 
  37. A2Mbps Software Kits, and the single node version of the 
  38. LANtastic/AI network. Later this summer, Artisoft plans to start 
  39. shipping the LANtastic AE-3TM Starter Kit, the Artisoft AE-3 
  40. adapter, the unlimited version of the LANtastic/AI network, and 
  41. upgrades.
  42.     For the Spanish market, Artisoft has begun shipping localized 
  43. versions of the the LANtastic AE-2 Starter Kit, the Artisoft AE-2 
  44. adapter and the LANtastic Ethernet and A2Mbps Software Kits. Later 
  45. this summer, Artisoft plans to start shipping the LANtastic AE-3 and 
  46. A2Mbps Starter Kits, the Artisoft AE-3 and A2Mbps adapters, the 
  47. single-node and unlimited versions of the LANtastic/AI network, and 
  48. upgrades.
  49.     For the German market, Artisoft has begun shipping 
  50. localized versions of the the LANtastic AE-2 Starter Kit and the 
  51. Artisoft AE-2 adapter, the LANtastic Ethernet and A2Mbps Software 
  52. Kits and the single node version of the LANtastic/AI network. Later 
  53. this summer, Artisoft plans to start shipping the LANtastic AE-3 and 
  54. A2Mbps Starter Kits, the Artisoft AE-3 and A2Mbps adapters, the 
  55. unlimited version of the LANtastic/AI network, and upgrades.
